Well, I've done it a few times. You should remove the FP's fuse first and crank the engine over a few times. This way most of the gas in the lines will be purged. First time I've done it without removing the IC. Major pain in the butt, but can be done with a short wrench. So if you wanna do it the easier way,remove the IC. Also take care of the O-ring on the fuel line going to the regulator, you should use a new one. Also easy on the nut because you can bend your line easily... If it's an adjustable one you install, you have to check your fuel pressure afterwards. Depending on you config you should set it to 45-50 psi, truck idleing, vacuum line disconnected and plugged...
