i know of a radar bleu in germany, that got scrapped. no title no papers etc. body was good. so that would make more than 2 atleast.
also i think i've seen pics of this truck before

Actually, reading the ad (no offense if the PO is reading this) he's willing to negotiate for items he still has but hasn't installed. WTF kinda crazy crap is that? Honestly... I think he's a little high on his horse for a 85,000+ miles plus truck that sat on jackstands for the last 7 years.

It has the code for black paint. Radar blue was a test color and not an RPO color. The pictured truck is the real deal; it's been discussed here many times.

I understand the rarity of the color, but when the color is in that kind of shape and without a way to get the original real color back to its original shape, $19000 is just way too steep.

I agree. So basically a body shop will just match it up best they can with the computer systems out there now to match paint and hope for the best.:roll:

Yes, the truck is legit. Yes the owner is a certified lunatic.

Dennis Olivares. Do a search and you can see where I posted info on it being for sale quite awhile ago as well. Do a bit more searching on google and you can find the lawsuit against him for attacking a coworker as well (I believe he worked for NASA if memory recalls). Search even deeper and you can find he has a love attraction towards OE member Daron on here.

Yes, he has a very bad case of superiority complex and fully thinks of himself as god or very close to it. He is right, everyone else in the world is wrong no matter the case.

Let me put it blunt. He is a full out c0ckg0bbler and has always been a huge thorn in the community back when we had the .org mailing list. 99.99% of everyone hated him. Truth hurts.

Yes, the truck is a total hunk of shit. He bought it that way and planned to restore it. As you can see, it went so well.

Yes, he is asking about $16,000 TO MUCH for the truck in its current condition.


Good F'n luck to the person who wants or tries to buy the truck. It will be a certain struggle through the entire process. Many have tried......

He bought that Ty ~10years ago for 10k and all he has done is ruin the wheels and drill hole in the firewall to mount the ignition. From the reports I have heard it's a lot rustier than he is leading on. Someone a few years ago was trying to buy it and he kept raising the price on him. Some thing like everything's he talk to him the price went up 1K.
