I didnt know dick about SYTY's when I got my truck. Even worse, I knew shit about fuel injection. The horror, I bought a 120,000 mile TY that had everything major fall apart in the first year I owned it. First it was the ECM. Then the Trans (learned to rebuild a tranny cause I didnt want to pay $3K for one that might work well), then the motor blew. I knew how to build motors already so that was plus but didnt know ass about the fuel injection part. You shouldve seen me engine bay, masking tape on every connnector with a number to a matching sensor, I was terrified of screwing something up. Found out quick that the rules that apply to other vehicles just dont apply to SYTY's. But, what can I say, I was somehow sucked into it despite all the BS and felt this overwhelming pull to it everyday. Still feel that way even after all teh crap Ive been through with it in the last few years. Now I race the crap out of it and beat it to shit but thats cause we love each other and need to break things so we can find quality time for each other :boink: :syty: I realized long ago I would have my TY TIL I DIE
