Big props to John Gerber for his help over the weekend. He lined me up with his fabricator to modify my roll cage and the job turned out excellent. This guy really does top notch work and is a great person. The work he is doing on John's pro street Typhoon is unbelievable. While I was there John and I took our trucks to a local car show and got a chance to do some boosted launches in front of his fabricator's shop on the newly paved road. You won't find better people. Thanks again :tup:

I saw John sends one down here for a week or so, otherwise I call his wife and let her in on the real story about typhoons. :) :)

It was in Ft. Wayne where John lives, not Terre Haute. The only show you will find in Terre Haute is a livestock show, unless you count the same 5-10 cars that go from parking lot to parking lot and pretend their POS cars are God's gift to the automotive world. Trust me, there's a reason I took my Sy up to Ft. Wayne to have the roll cage modified.

Some reason a pistachio pudding colored Lambo just seems uber PIMP... One of the few cars you could paint justabout any color (except mary kaye pink) and it would rock..

So what'd you have done to the cage Mark? Are you able to get your ankles in without busting them now?

I had the bar that runs behind the seats moved back about 3" so it now runs along the back wall of the cab. Moving it allows the seats to go all the way back and the seat can now recline against the back wall of the cab. It is SO much nicer to drive now. The "ankle busters" are still under the dash, not much I can do about those since they are welded to the frame and are a critical part of the cage. Having the seats back farther helps, though. I thought about removing it more than once but the wife says there is no way that's going to happen so I might as well get used to it :roll: .

Of course he doesn't show off the Diablo 6.0 and the Murcíelago much. They're kinda slow in relation to the Typhoon. Cool cars none the less, and I know how clean his Ty is. :tup:

I really didnt notice how tight it was in there with that back bar 3" farther towards the front of the truck.. :dunno: But yeah, for what you've said you've done to that truck from when I was with you, you better keep being safe as the #1 thing. :tup:
