Target had one JL.... clearly not the Ty. :rant:

Time to check Walgreens, since there's only 6,000 of them in Greeley. :lol:

May just have to break down and fleabay a couple.

Target by me doesn't even have a spot for the JL's anymore. WTF, a few years ago they were everywhere...

so theres a regular ty , white lightning ty , lightning strike ty , and soon to be roof rack ty at minimum ? i want to make sure i dont miss any .

Currently there's a regular Ty, a lightning strike Ty, and officially there's a white lightning Ty... I haven't seen a single WL for sale yet or even seen a picture of one. The next time they release the Typhoon it will most definately be painted a different color, and that's the one that will have a roofrack. All of the ones released so far don't have the roofrack.

There was a White Lightnng Ty on e*ay a few weeks ago. It has a white base and a white engine if I remember correctly.

My skill level is probably right on par with yours:lol: I'm gonna repaint a couple red/red for the kids.......did you masks off and brush? or remove the rivet and disassemble before paint?

After exhausting every store in southeastern Pennsylvania :roll: (JL is just about gone from stores) I finally ordered some from Diecast Alley. Got three in the mail today. They're great! :tup:

I've checked the Wal-Marts around me and none of them had any. At all. One Walgreens had the big JL's.

Here's the jack I got, now under the JL Ty.

The stuff under the tire is clear silicone to keep it from moving. I still need to trim it with the exact-o knife.

I see that your S-10 is finally Ty power under your hood

I bought the only two JL Typhoons on the shelf at my last visit to Toys r us recently. Other than that, I haven't found them anywhere. Not even Walgreens, and the JL website says that's one place you can get them.

I searched every Walgreens, Walmart and Target within 10 miles, and couldn't even find a place that carried JL. The burnout behind the counter @ HobbyTown had never even heard of the brand until one of the older employees told him what it was. I finally caved and bought 3 from www.troystoysinc.com :banghead:

The gas you are wasting driving around you could have just purchased them form troystoysinc.com and get them within three days. That is where i ordered three and they came within three days with no issues. :tup:

x2...exactly. I paid $7.95 shipping for 3 Typhoons and they arrived at my door. I tried stores that I was mostly passing by, but still, it's a lot of time wasted.

I'm going to end up with an entire "scene" before it's over. I picked up a JL Challenger today when I went to Toys R Us looking for Ty's. It came with a christmas tree.

I ordered some from troystoysinc.com and got them in a few days. I quickly found out that it's really not meant to be played with as my 5yr son immediately pulled the tires off. He hasn't taken the hood off yet but i'm sure it's only a matter of time.
