I haven't heard from Jon since before the new year but I do know he owns 2 SGTs and a Sy and intends to get a Ty eventually. so he definitely is not getting out of SyTy.

He has moved, relocated his business and trying to build a garage to store all his toys in.
I am not making excuses for him but I don't think he would take your money and run.
He is probably just overwhelmed and hasn't figured out which way is up yet.

I will try to get him on the phone this weekend and prod him a little.

I don't know about SonomaGTlover, but I like to take care of all my old business before I start or get involved in new business/projects.

6 months+ for stickers/decals is pushing it a little. maybe on something custom fabbed/welded or an engine i can understand. but not stickers :2cents:

What wierd's me out is that he has 9 successful transactions (all positive feedback) in which he was the buyer. Why can he complete transactions through ebay and not here?

EDIT: I met him at NATS, and seemed like a stand up guy who was busy all the time, so I'm still giving him the benefit of doubt...

Seems to be the typical modus operandi for deadbeat vendors.
DeQuick, Dunstan, Pep all pretty much did the same thing before they dropped from favor.
They take your money then won't take your calls or reply to email.
There is no one vendor that is so busy that they can't respond in some way, shape or form within a week. If I don't hear from somebody within a week that to me is a begining sign that things could are about to go bad.

At this point I'm sure his conscience has the best of him & he is probably to emabarrsed to answer anyone he has jacked. Hence, the no replies to anyone here.

Since he obviously has email access, has resources to buy stuff yet he still owes members here money or goods, I say DOGHOUSE!

Note to self: If you are going to do shady business transactions, don't use a screen name on a high profile site that everyone will know that it's you.

I feel for you guys. I actually felt bad about NOT going through a syty person to get my stuff, going through a friend instead. Now I'm glad that I didn't.

Well i have to say that i have never mey Jon, but talked with him in emails and pms and what not about different stuff, and i had thought he was going to do the right thing and make it right with people, but unfortunatly i think it obvious that he has moved on, and is buying some high dollar stuff, and doesnt plan to make it right with anybody.

I have to give one more vote for the DOGHOUSE.

Ok, Jon will be going into the Doghouse unless he responds to at least one of the threads concerning what's going on. He has received payments (some 6-9 months ago) from quite a few people and they have not gotten their decals.

So far it looks like these people have not gotten their decals or have even heard from Jon via email or phone:
