JSM Changes

As many have figured out I have not spent much time in syty land as of recently. Lots of reasons some good, some life adventures we all face.

With that said my spare time to develop and produce the select few JSM parts (crossmembers, torsion delete, and the 4 link ty rear kit) is just not there like it was. Many who have been around awhile know Mike Hardman from many years in syty land.

Mike has been in the background for many years and knows my product, and was there for most of the development of them. He will know be taking over the front line effort as his time outside his day jobs/family allows.

The syty market is a very small niche effort. I would hate for some of the custom parts to not be available to some degree.

Mikes contact info is mikehardman74@gmail.com he will be best to email directly about any product info. I will be in the background, still be doing the welding, and other behind scenes activities Mike will just be in charge of organizing, shipping, etc (since I have really sucked at that lately or from the start to some degree).

I have a few standing orders to finish up.

ty1295@ gmail.com will find me quicker than the forums for any questions on past or future stuff.

Re: JSM Changes

Not trying to get rid of anybody, lots of syty people have become great friends throughout the years and I value that. My ty isn't going anywhere, the sale ad was a feeler and even though I have double the asking price invested in the truck, I was fairly certain nobody would step up and pay my price and I am not willing to just let it go any cheaper.

As far as JSM stuff goes, when you offer a product/service there is a certain level of expectations people deserve. The past few months I have not had the time, energy, and lots of other lame excuses to deliver that level. Hardman has been with me for many years on stuff, and is the right person to let handle the situation and not just leave a big void. Again I will be in background anyways.

Re: JSM Changes

Im glad you and Harmon decided to settle down.

They are both getting older, Adam. I think it is good that they decided to focus on each other, rather than making parts, or building a V-8 powered Syclone or Typhoon. Good for them.

Re: JSM Changes

There's been a series of "vendors" on here that have gone out in a blaze of pissed-off, ripped-off members. Jeff is NOT one of these. And some have just faded to black.

Jeff, like a whole bunch of other owners and enthusiasts over the years have done, is moving on and leaving SyTy in the rear view mirror of life. I'm saddened by the news, because not only will his technical input and occasional snarkiness be missed, but Jeff is also a friend. His number is in my phone and I know that if I were on a trip, and in range of his being able to provide assistance, all I have to do is push SEND. And vica-versa of course.

Good luck Jeff.

Re: JSM Changes

Jeff is a great guy and a good friend. Sometimes people get a little burnt out on certain projects,or other things come along that that need time devoted to them instead of these trucks. That is just how life is.

I haven't been posting on the board much lately. I do still read and see what is going on. I still have been trying to work on my trucks. That Holley Dominator is still sitting in the shipping box. But my son turned 16 and conned me into buying him a BMW. What a mistake. Those things are a pile of chit. I work on it constantly.

But I do hope that you do continue to be involved when you are able. There are a lot of people around here that think you are a all right guy.
