Joe, the TN folks and myself have discussed organizing a May event.

I had the idea and wanted to see what option people would prefer, enjoy, etc.

Kellers House has made the perfect gathering spot for several events. It does well.

-or-

I can bring a grille, refreshment, trailer, etc and we could all meet at Beach Bend raceway for a test and tune night. I am sure I can get a few trucks to come down, T-Bone wants to do a bit more tuning, even those just wanting to hang out we could have our own spot in the pits setup.

Thoughts on either, anybody further than the TN/KY state line have any interest or suggestions?

We don't have a specific date set yet, but if you have suggestions on date feel free (not saying we will listen LOL).

Either place sounds good to me as both have their perks.

I have 18 new NGK-7 plugs, new 8MM Accel wires with ceramic boots, a new AEM Tru-Boost controller and a new MSD 6-AL ignition box in my possession. 6 additional kevlar heat shield boots are enroute and I expect them today. Will that enable me to be ripe for a decent stab into the Big Gun club? :dunno:

The first and last weekends in May won't work for me though so hopefully the majority can select a Saturday in between. Hopefully we can meet some new SyTy owners too, like Squid2Soldier and the owner of the nice looking yellow Sy (hard to believe I'd even say that about a yellow vehicle).

If there is enough players, we could go across I-65 and have some fun on the go-cart track....see who has some skills :).

Also we will be gone on Vacation from May 21st until May 28th so please schedule around that time so we can come and see everyone. :) Thanks.

I finally got Nick's baseball schedule! His last game is on 4/30. They do have playoffs after that so May 21st would be better for us but May 14th will be ok too. You guys are welcome as always at our house or Beech Bend is good too. Either way.

We could do a friday night race/tune followed by sat BBQ at kellers.

Either way I will be on hand to offer my tuning advice. (take that for what its worth).

I know my black truck is on the verge of going 10's, T-Bones sy can probably get there.

I agree. I would love to see you and T-Bone make some good passes. There is also an 1/8th mile very close to my house.FWIW
