if i wanted to put a 125 shot of nitrous on my ty would it work if i was getting my car dyno tuned for it? im getting and external gate soon and im getting some dyno tuning done so i was wondering if it was worth it, or should i just stick with my aquamist kit i have on now and run alot of boost with stock turbo? no flames for the nitrous plz :lol:

i am running a zex 55 shot and aquamist with 100% meth and so far everything is ok. Juicing in first gear makes my ty act weird though. The fp goes to 85lbs and she doesn't like that. O yea your ic will like the juice too :D :D

Tyndago loves NOS. He will put nos on a fucking bycicle if he has the chance. He will have it on his sy along with 30psi from the stock turbo so I will say yes it can be done...

i'd say no. way too much back pressure in that small ass exhaust housing. it will heat things up too much.

Turn the boost down to 14 psi and try a 75 shot. Don't bother screwing with aquamist, especially water.

nitrous will not freeze water injection. I have done it before. The motor is too hot for that to happen. I however run 100% meth but you must use klotz uplon lube with it in order to not damaga your pump. A 75 shot i think is pushing it too. I did not want a 55 shot but that's what i could find. I would try a 35 shot and go from there. Datalog your truck and run ZEX not NOS. Zex is a smart system that injects nitrous relative to bottle pressure, bottle temp, and control's fp.

It will damage your pump, maybe not tomorrow, but sooner or later it will. I see no reason to mess with alky and nitrous, they both work well with the right setup, alkys a big turbo high boost thing, nitrous is a bolt on and go like hell.

I like nitrous because you can go really fast without major $$, even if ya blow up, its still cheaper than buying a wild build (turbo, couple converters, wild heads, wild cams, all that crap). Trust me its really expensive, just look at trucks like jacks in the for sale section, big ass dollars, just imagine how many mild builds you could do for that, forged pistons and rods are cheap.

Throw some nitrous on and have some fun, plan a rebuild in the future, but don't worry your not alone, us big turbo guys have an annual plan to pull shit apart.

Last year I was lucky, ran tons of 11's, never had a single stinkin problem. This year I've wasted another 5K and am still messing with crap, I like playing around so it's no biggie, but pulling the motor and tweaking stuff is just normal daily stuff around here.

if you run klotz uplon lube you will not damage your pump. It neutralizes the harmful drying effects of alcohol.

Why am I trying to convince you? Use it, I think it'll work great for you.

Here I go again, trying to be Mr. helpful.

If you really want to use alky and nitrous, just use a fogger nozzle and double the jet size on the fuel side, then plum alky into the nozzle instead of gas, now you'll get to burn 2 times more fuel, netting you around 20% more power.

Now that I've completely contradicted myself, I'd recommend running nitrous with alky or without, damn this is the square wheel stuff.

Did it already. Nothing happend. I even called zex first to confirm and they said go for it.

running just the water injection and the t3-'' setting compared to the t1-'' setting on ultimate what kind of performance gains will you see?

are you talking about pump gas or racing gas?

haven't gotten my water tuned right yet but I can run T2 pretty good just spraying water but I tried a T3 for shits and giggles and my knnock went off the charts. this is on 92 octane. just driving around T2 feels much more responsive than T1.
