Just got my Ty and have some questions...(PICS)

I just picked up my truck, spent all day yesterday cleaning it...
Got a couple of questions...What do they run completely stock form to 60 and 1/4 mile...Are dim gauge lights a common problem? Also is it hard to pick up a stock cd player for these?

Congrats on the purchase :D

To answer your questions:

Stock, depending on miles, 1/4 times can be anywhere from 13.5 - 14.4

Dim gauge lights are common, but its never been a problem for me.

Stock CD player......i GOOD one is sometimes hard to come by, but they pop up from time to time. Id personally just go with a decent aftermarket unit myself.

Congrats on the purchase, and a good choice on the color, Im curious, what does the tr run in the 1/4 and how much in mods have you done to it, and

Ps our trucks are the complete opposite ot the lc2 motors, it takes a little bit more money than a lc2 to get it to go fast.

MyTyphoon93: I have yet to take the Buick to the track, it's fairly stock but has heads, injectors, exhaust, chip, etc basic stuff to make it a solid 12sec car... I am not really planning to race the ty either just curious cuz some mustang people I know had some doubts of its quickness...

man those red/red tys are bright! 8) looks good though ;). about the only thing you need to do, which i finally did to mine, is drop it at least 1". makes a huge difference in the way it looks.

and i agree with morgan, for the price of aftermarket stereos these days, go with one instead of the stock unit. I have yet to see a delco stereo out of a gm that hasn't failed eventually in one way or another. it's a sweet truck, might as well give it some good tunes, no? :)

It has some sony headunit in there now..had subs in the rear but I ripped them out..not sure if they are any good or not, but I am not really into car audio, I prefer home audio...so I was just looking fora stock piece but if they are hard to come about I'll just stick with this...I do need some new speakers tho any suggestions?

Its actually Steve Kaminski's old truck and has a long story behind it...technically it's a clone "87Blazer Vin" but not one piece of it is a blazer...I forget the story about who owned it before Steve...I got it for 5k
