That might be his.... but his real name is george... some guy that lives over by me showed me his old registration on his white Ty... It said George Kenneth Griffey Jr. on it, and he swore that he bought it off him because his agent sold it to him and he couldnt even get an autograph.

why does it have 18 vin numbers?

EDIT i dunno what the deal is, but if you subtract 1 of the 4's at the end you get this from carfax

Just becasue his first name is George doesnt mean he has to use it. Sometimes people call themselvs using there middle name. The name on the insurance card is just for display. Of course you want it to match it with what is on your license but some people might not use the middle name or maybe a first inital. My friends name is TJ. at least that is what he intruduced himself to me YEARS AGO but his actual name is Thomas John. I have seen him sign his name and sometimes he actually uses TJ and sometimes his whole name. ITs still him....

Anyway just my 2 cents!!!!

I suspect he went by Ken since his dad's name is Ken also.

He lived in Seattle, training camp is in Arizona. I know he had a ty, no doubt at one point he owned this ty in question regardless if his name is george bill, anything but sue.

Not to sound mean or anything. It's really simple as to why he didn't use his 1st name.
He didn't want to. I have never use my 1st name. His parents most likely use it when he was a kid and he got in trouble. Can you picture his parents saying, "Now George what did I tell you about that?" It's going to cost you the weekend for screwing up like that. There will be no phone calls, no girls, no partys and no baseball, etc.

The only time I have ever use my kids middle name is when they went over the line :rotf:. If they heard the middle name or the friends heard it, they instantly stop everything and reported in :tup:. Now they are grown and I don't have to use it at all because they have made it to adulthood . Enjoy your kids and help them to be better kids then you were, because they really do grow up fast today, almost too fast :tup:.
