2 kills in one nite:
1st was at the track (1/8th)....minding my own business in the staging lanes when some kid in a black ZO6 (405) pulls up, rolls down the window, and gives my truck a weird look and snicker. Track was horrible as I was slipping to 1.8 sixties and had been .2 off my ET all nite, plus he wasn't much of a driver apparentely.....result.....I went 7.72 to his 8.83. Looked absolutely ridiculous to the people watching. I hate beating a fellow GM (esp. a good car being misdriven), but punks come in all different flavors.
2nd was on the way home from the track....bout to fall asleep on the interstate when a new Hemi Ram comes up and starts raising all kinds of hell next to me. Didn't really wanna play, but he kept on. I drop it to D at about 65 and pull even with him. I get the edge on the punch, but it wouldn't have really mattered either way. After what seemed like a 70 car length difference I get out of it. He catches up and gooses it once more as I hit the off ramp. Oh well, lesson taught.
Stepping off the sandbox now,
Michael
