LAST CHANCE Sonoma GT 519 for sale

NHSTE - I'm the only one!
Alright guys, I need this truck gone by the end of the summer. Before October.

So, last chance for anyone to buy the truck. $6500 OBO. If it isn't gone by October, I'm going to strip all the GT specific parts off of it and trade it in under the cash-for-clunkers program. I'll get $4500 on the voucher plus what I can make selling the parts.

I hate to do it, but since no one seems to want a truck, it's what I've got left open to me.

Re: LAST CHANCE Sonoma GT 519 for sale

the cash for clunkers deal through the goverment is only for 1984 and older

How old does my car need to be? Eligible vehicles must be manufactured in model year 1984 or later. For work trucks however, any model built before 2002 is eligible. We anticipate that most cars traded in will likely be model-year 2000 and older

According to htp://www.cashforclunkersfacts.com the vehicle must be newer than 1984, get less than 18mpg (the GT has an EPA rating of 17mpg), be running and have been registered to the owner for more than a year.

I'll probably take the truck in as-is and get a quote to see what they'll give me on the trade, but I doubt it will be higher than $3500.

The 84 and later terminology they used is confusing. Its meant to be 84 and newer. Re-Read what you quoted above. "We anticipate that most cars traded in will likely be model-year 2000 and older" The examples use are also newer than 84 as well.
