are you talkin about the seal at the fuel rail? or the seal in the regulator? if it's the seal at the fuel rail that one is a real bitch to get seated, but if you put a little dab of grease on it when you get ready to put it in it'll go in a lot easier and let it seat all the way

I had mine leak at the return out the bottom of the regulator. I think I may have had a problem with the o-ring. Viton makes a good o-ring to use IIRC.

the accufab fpr comes with a spare oring.. if you force the regulator in it will leak.. you need some greese so it slides in, and seals nicely on the o-ring.

exactly....put a dab of bearing grease on the o-ring and it goes together slicker than snot. If you didn't do this, before you try to reinstall, you might want to take a quick peek at the o-ring to make sure you didn't bum it up trying to force it into the dry hole. Always remember lube ;) .

Re: leaking accufab reg

you must have a dud or something. Is it puking out the top where the adjustment screw is, or leaking out the bottom where the threaded fuel line attaches?

I have an old Accufab one that leaks where the tamper proof torx fasteners secure the upper/lower halves. There's a silicone or BUNA-N(?) gasket sandwiched between the halves and when I looked at the gasket there are what appear to be defects(lines/channels) on the gasket that, I think, contribute to the leak. Gotta return for repairs.

Re: leaking accufab reg

same problem...same reg...its a great piece, but a PITA to seat correctly as mentioned. I recommend takign the fuel rail off and seating it so you know its on correctly/all the way...solved my issues.

Would the pressure leak down overnight on these or KB regulators be ok?It holds for some time but slowly drops while sitting. Also, I have a KB and wonder if the seal between the 2 halves would be the same and is it available or a KB for that matter??

I've had 2 adjustable regulators; Kenne Bell and the Accufab, and neither leaks down.....
