Leaking turbo oil feed line

The turbo oil feed line is leaking a large amount of oil at the engine block connection. It apprears to be leaking where the nut screws onto the fitting. The nut is tight. Is there a gasket or o-ring that may need replacing? I haven't taken it apart, in case, I need to have a replacement gasket handy. Or is the line just failing from age? It has always leaked there a bit, like a drop or two once in a while. But lately, a large amount of oil has been leaking.

there is no gasket. it is a flaired fitting. the pressure from tightening the fitting seals the thing. make sure it is leaking there and not from the fitting in the block. I would R&R the fitting in the block and reteflon that first.

Yes, good advice, John. I have had better luck w Teflon paste rather than the tape. Also pieces from the tape can flake off and plug things. This was particularly a problem w carburetors - thank god they are disappearing.
