Lightest stock Vette wheels?

I've hear the Magnesium C4 are the lightest of all but is this a fact? Would like to keep them at 17 in maybe 18 in diameter.
Also, I may have located a set of aluminum rear drums from an extended cab sonoma. Hoping to reduce rotating mass.

The 17x9.5 C5 Z06 is 19.2 lbs. I think the 17x8.5 C4 magnesium wheel is about a pound lighter.

C5 is also referred to as wagon wheels? Or is it the thin 5 spoke?

C5 is the body type 97-04 the wagon wheels came out 97-99 .2000 was the first year of the thin spoke 5 bar the z06 rims are from 2001 -04 .

If you're doing matching sized, 4 fronts, the c5 magnesium are the lightest 17x8.5 at 17 lbs a piece I'm pretty sure

Nice! Thanks for the info. I had considered the GTA honeycombs. They are 16-17 lbs a piece and 16" diameter. Hmmm.

Not positive, but the GTA wheels are the wrong offset. They would work on a 2wd, and stick out on awd

The back fits fine , the fronts stick out a bit too much.

The GTA wheels did not rub,
I just put them on for drag racing because they are lighter IIRC, 3 LBS than stock wheels
