Neal, I uploaded the logo in standard and outline form as a gif. It's...umm...kinda big, to say the least. Let me know if it works/what you think.

Also, let me know what you are thinking about as far as the decal goes. I will certainly be able to get something done for you.

Daniel, I am sorry but I am not familiar with Pontiacs too much, so I still have no clue what you are referring to when you say "rear bumper inserts." maybe a good picture would help out.

Yeah, Mike. That logo is hella-accurate. Looks wierd with all the random flares all around the logo. I rasterized a logo that's about 8 feet long @ 300DPI just for the hell of it and it was bitchin'. The file size was OBSCENE. I also designed a couple cool SyTy paperweights and keychains just to screw around. Now that I've got the logos I can pretty much incorporate them into anything I can think of. Ideas are appreciated.

If anyone needs vinyl cut, my friend Heath Elmer does it for a living. I'll hit him up for pricing if anyone has some crazy sticker ideas. I don't want to get on Graphik Koncepts's bad side, so windshield banners and replacement logos are out...

I've also got a couple CO2 lasers for cutting plastic/wood/rubber/etc... I haven't learned how to program them though, but I'll get around to it sooner or later.

Holy friggen' oldest thread ever resurrected batman!!!

I'm pretty sure I ran across those files on an old CD a few days ago. I'll see if I can dig them back up and stick them up on a website...

Ahhh...memories...like the time I stole my girlfriend's makeup mirror and laser-etched Syclone on it. She was pissed. :)

Re: Looking for CAD-based "vectorized" logo

I have the logos. I have Typhoon, Syclone, the GMC truck logo. They are *.ai files from corel draw. They are Vector images as I use them to make stickers. Can stretch to any size without distortion. If you want them just shoot me an email at Frogger93lx@cs.com Also if there is any other brand name product you want, I can get most of them in .eps format.

You just need to open it in Illustrator and change it to an outline.....

Re: Looking for CAD-based "vectorized" logo

well i wouldnt worry about going through the trouble of making one up. Mike, a guy that used to be on the boards should still have a copy of the outline logo he created. i used his logo to get a piece of plexiglass laser etched. but i need the logo again for a lil project im workin on. so like i was saying in an earlier post... if anyone has a way of getting ahold of Mike, it would be greatly appreciated.

If I don't have Adobe Illustrator it seems to save it automatically as a .PDF. Weird. Pro-E says it supports .AI but the file when saved is a .PDF.
