Anybody know what happened to a 1992 Typhoon #0040? Just Curious...I sold to a guy in Colorado Springs, CO september of 2002. I heard he sold it so i thought i would see if the new owner was on the board.

Well I thank you very much. Thats something else it has moved some more. Crazy to think I was the 8th owner when i sold it it had 127k miles. I am willing to bet it's on 10 or 11 now. It had ooooddles of issues I bet even more now. I spent just over $6k in a year trying to make things right (Brandon front propshaft) front/rear differentials, rear drive shaft rebuild, t-case, new tranny, i put the pretty blue vacume kit on it (Ian was the guys name that was selling them in a GP), ngk plugs, new radiator, taylor wires, walbro 255, new upper intake gasket, cold air intake, reroute of ic lines, new ic pump 3x's, boost gauge in single pillar pod, and you know the thing still ran pretty good for only building 10psi of boost! Thing that hurts since i have learned more about turbos since then is that i never adjusted the wga which might have put me at the 14.5....I'll never know. Anyway I'm bout to get a new srt-4 so I hope it is more dependable than my TY was! Well if someone ever comes on to syty tell them who to pm if they want some history about their ty0040. And if any dallas area guys want some help on my spare time I would be willing to help work on your syty for some beer!!! :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:
