Okay, I can only build 10 psi of boost at WOT in any gear. Just Saturday night I was building the standard 14.7 psi in all gears. This is with the ECM controlling the boost with the stock chip with new vacuum lines. BUT ALSO, with a manual boost controller that totally takes away all ECM control of the boost, I'm still only getting the 10 psi. While scanning the O2s are in the .930s range with zero knock retard. I just don't get it. How can one day the boost level be fine, I park it overnight, take it to the race track and it will only build 10 psi?

so the only other solutions are, theres not enough exhaust/exhaust flow to spin the turbo, your bleeding off boost, or something is wrong with the turbo.
could be anything from retarded timing, stuck wg actuator, plugged cat, loose intake hose, to a rodent stuck in the muffler

Ian, I have the same problem with a closed exhaust as well as when I open my cutout, which is before the cat. All the boost hose connections are tight and don't seem to be leaking boost.
Also, I've tried the initial timing from -1 to +4 with no change. No retard at all.
The boost actually spools up just as fast as ever. It just totally stops at 10 psi.
I'm wondering if my turbo is going bad. How would I know?

I don't have any knock retard whatsoever. I have 101 octane unleaded in it right now, because I went racing on Sunday. I'm measuring boost with an Autometer gauge. Boost has definitely dropped. I usually run 13.6s at 97 MPH on the 14.7 psi, this Sunday at 10 psi I could only get a 14.3 at 92 mph. So with the boost loss I fell 5 mph in the 1/4mile also.
