SC ls1 sy"clone" wannabe project

Re: ls1 sy"clone" wannabe project

Along with the major hassle of finding companies that can do the fab work. I took on this project expecting to spend about 20k on it (long run) to eventually put it in the 1000hp range. Things just aren't working smoothly for me and its frustrating. I don't expect that I'll ever "need" to sell this truck.

This may sound crazy but what would be the odds of just selling it as a rolling chassis? I am looking for an s10 I could drop a stock 4.3 with a 5 speed and the truck looks like a good candidate!

Oh gotcha! Let me know if it falls thru or pm you price for the rolling chassis.

Re: ls1 sy"clone" wannabe project

Will do, I will still have the swap parts, rpm mounts, RPM crossmember, coilovers, etc. After the body and frame are gone.

Re: ls1 sy"clone" wannabe project

$250 for trans cross member. $120 for engine mounts, $650 for coil over shocks. But this stuff may already be sold.

Had a guy call dibs on it if I ever came to selling the parts.

Bump, body is gone but can Be had with a 98 s10 body more in need of paint but no rust. If someone makes the right offer, I may sell with or without the ls1.

Re: ls1 sy"clone" wannabe project

Could the gentleman who contacted me via phone about the swap parts contact me , you had dibs and I've lost your contact info.
