Yep its a V8 !! As some of you may already know im building a LT1 V8 Typhoon. I was able to aquire a very low miliage Impalla SS engine & trans. Ive been looking for a roller Sy for a year now and have had no luck so i decided to pick up a TY with a missing engine thats been sitting for god nows how many years. Its not a cherry but its all there and the interior is a 8 of 10 and the chassis has only 45,000 miles on it. First off my intentions are to build a nice driver and hit it with a 150 shot of NOS for the track. Yes it will be AWD. I started the project 3 weeks ago and mostly ive been cleaning and painting searching for parts for the swap. I test fit the motor transmission and now im rebuilding the suspension, brakes and lines. Ive got some pics to share with you guys and i will post up as i go here!!!

The Typhoon:

Engine installed (Test fit)

Bottom of engine header clearance

Pass side suspension and brakes rebuilt

Maybe turbo!!!

how is the exhaust going to be routed around the propshaft?
Around and under the prop shaft then along the pass side exhaust to an x pipe then dumped befroe the rear axle. Theres tons of room believe it or not.
