No, not really. If you're really 19 years old, you were 5 when I bought my first Ty.

I've been spinning wrenches professionally for over 40 years. That's a lot of experience speaking that was trying to make you aware of what you're getting into. Not to mention I'm one of the few on here that knows what it takes to do a reliable SyTy, because I've done it.

But hey, you want to pay to play. Hope you're doing as well as your brother, money-wise. But I have yet to meet a 19 year old that isn't broke. You can't afford it.

"Later" back at ya'

im 20 now, bought my first two tys when i was 18. its possible. just not healthy, i lived in that thing more than home =]

Thanks for all the info, I'm heading back to AK on dec. 12th so I'll be able to get some more info on the truck itself. I talked with my cousin again about the truck and he may be selling it quite soon, trying to buy a house and is settling down with some chick. So maybe this summer I'll have my own syclone...woooohooo!

What about the vibration you had?

opps i forgot about having to do the motor mounts ! of course i checked all the bearings in the T-case and the frong diff. and balanced the rear driveshaft and installed new u joints. the front prop shaft replacement was done due to a busted boot.
