MARCH NASTE Meet: Dave & Busters - Saturday 27th

Just curious to see if anyone would be interested in another Dave & Busters (in West Nyack, NY) meet on either Saturday March 27th or Sunday March 28th.

I figure we would need a little time to make plans and some other SyTy people already have plans for the 20th so I didnt wanna suggest that weekend, so whos up for it??

More details to follow if this actually goes down.

I'm game..for Sat. I have to go out of town again on Sun. so thats out for me..I won't have the Sy though unless we get lots of rain and lots of sun.

I'm down for a D & B meet. 27th or 28th is cool for me if the weather is good. The 28th is better because I work Saturdays till about 2:30 - 3:00. If we do it on the 27th I'd still go, just a bit late as long as everyone is still there.

I prob will not be able to make it. I'll be in vegas from 13th to 21st for my birthday then have a wedding to attend that weekend after (27th) i think.

Looks like about 5 hours for you. I know its 3 hours for me and I forget what it was for the New England guys.

I work sat 7am - 3pm..
and sunday I'm not positive about..

Id say i could make it, maybe even in the typhoon, but alas, my ty might be getting painted soon.. and im hoping to have it ready for e-town swap meet.

I am not sure if I will be able to make it, I will have to see what my work schedule and my progress in the garage goes. I definately won't be in Syclone. From where I live, it was only a little over 3 hours away.

i am in any weekend other then the 4th of the month which this is so unless it changes to another weekend i will not be ther either. good idea though

ok, so here's the deal.

I made a list of those who were definately in and those who were kinda not sure.

I also changed the meeting time from 11:00am to 2:00pm (and maybe we can bump it back later) and here's why.

Just taking Jeff into account and any other northern NY'ers, for him to even get there at 2:00pm, he will most likely have to leave around 9-10am. I cant see that being much fun. Now also at this point, Im leaning towards Saturday and here's why. Having moved the time back a bit for not only Jeff, but now for Eric and Mike B also since they both work till 2-3pm on Sat and it takes them both about an hour to get there. It seems that most of us are night people and being that its a Saturday night, why not live it up a little and have fun.

For those who were there last year, they have an arcade and games and a BAR and tons of other stuff, not to mention its a HUGE MALL, so anyone bringing their significant others like myself can send the females walking if need be :lol:

Im also leaning towards a later saturday meet cause when we have early sunday meets, everyone bails early cause EVERYONE has to work monday morning.

So taking into account everyones driving and working schedules, I think a late lunch/early dinner meet on Sat would work out great.

Also, id doesnt seem like many of us are bringing trucks, I know mine isnt together enough to roll, so I dont think lighting for pictures is going to be a huge factor not that its really going to matter since it light out till 6-ish now, but nevertheless, if you would rather not bring your SyTy, who cares, just come out and have a good time.

Does anyone else have other thoughts or opinions on the time or day??

i might bring my truck, with no cladding, and only a front bumper and a rear bumper on it..

oh yeah and sanded to nothing as well..

i love driving it..

Well this looks good to me...if its sun I can't go because the drive is to far for me get back home at 12-1 in the morning....

so, sat i can make it...not sure if i'll bring the woman, but i'll have the sy for sure, its my only mode of transportation assuming nothing breaks! (knock on wood)

Last year, we parked away from most of the cars, I think it was the Park & Ride parking lot. I felt safe.
