Met Stacey David from Trucks today

I went to the Cleveland Auto Rama today in hopes to see Stacey Keibler or Courtney Walsh from Overhaulin' but neither showed while I was there. But I did get to meet Stacey from Trucks with Copperhead there. Stacey seemed like a real cool guy and as he was signing me an autograph he asked what I work on and I told him a '91 Syclone. He stopped right in the middle of signing my autograph and got a big smile on his face and said "You Dog!!" He said he's been trying to find a nice Syclone but hasn't had any luck finding a nice one, claming that most collectors are buying them up. I also told him that he needs to do a tribute to the Sy/Ty and he agreed saying that it is indeed one of the true sport trucks. I'm gonna shoot him an email with a pic of my truck and hopefully we'll see something on his show one day about the Syclone and Typhoon!

Yeah he seems like a cool guy. I always wondered when he might do something on the Sy's and/or Ty's? I like the Crazy Horse Bronco the best though

He seems real cool. Just got done watchin a trucks marathon on Spike today. That would be awesome to have them do a SyTy special. We should invite there crew to our Nationals

Noo, what are you talking about. Mullets will always be in! Especially if your driving a pick-up with your elbow out the window and blaring Jackyl out your radio!

Did you tell him to get a hair cut, cause mullets went out in the late 80's early 90's.
LOL, nah, didn't want to piss him off! :rotf: It was cool though that he was so interested in the Sy. I heard him ask a few people in front of me what they had and he just kinda knodded and said "oh yeah, well keep it up" Then when he got to me, he actually stopped and talked to me for a bit about it. Who knows, maybe he'll get one eventually and have it on the show.

Someone do the research in how to contact him via mail and he will get a personal invite and promo packet for Nats.

Stacy has mentioned the Syclone when they were doing a lowering job on a 4x4 Durango.

His comment was something to the effect of "The advantage of All Wheel drive in a performance truck really came to shape in the form of the Syclone by GMC. "

Mullet or not Stacy is into trucks and even if all he does is mention SyTys he's cool in my book.

I e-mailed the guys from dream car garage about a year or two ago saying they need to do something on trucks and they said they had something in the making. Guess it fell thru cause I never saw anything.

He does need to do a show on the SyTy's. He's had Lightings on there a few times, the SRT-10, and a few other performance trucks as well.
