metalic jingle sound

After my truck is warmed up and gets moving there is a jingly sound coming from underneath. It sounds like a metal clamp or something is loose and rattles. Sounds like it's coming from the transfer case or rear driveshaft area. Anyone have an idea of what it is?

Heat shield on the cat or heat shield that goes over the downpipe on the passenger floor board.

thatd be my guess. shake the exhaust and see if its hitting. you can bend the shield pretty easily

Just another though, but you might also check the ft. propshaft... When I bought my Sy, the metal collar on the front joint of the shaft was fubar'd & would make a similar noise to what you described as it was spinning.
