Might be buying a Ty

Going to look at this truck next weekend and was wondering if anybody knows about it on here????

Doesn't appear he is a member on here though???

Has some mods on it, been re-painted, tranny was re-done, engine has not. #216

Same owner for the past 11 yrs., seems very nice, was from jersey now in delaware.

The only thing I know about that truck is that it has been for sale for a long time. I think I started seeing ads for that truck at least 2 years ago. The trophies on the engine are hard to forget.

Take somebody with you who knows SyTys. Delaware's a small state and there are a few members down there.

Is that truck really in Delaware? Its got NJ plates. That thing used to be for sale on Craigslist in the Central Jersey area for the longest time. Edison area I believe. Unless someone stole the pics and its a scam, but if you talked to the guy I guess he moved and its legit.

He moved from Jersey to DE at some point he told me.

I wonder why he couldn't sell it before???? Was he asking too much money back then???

I just don't want to drive 7 hours and be disappointed and waste a complete day.

I know there is a thread somewhere on this, but anything specific I should look at on these?? I'm familiar w/ the V6 turbo's, but from the GN's, TTA's.

I'm on the fence with either this truck or davep's truck from calif.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never saw this truck in person but I should have probably looked at it when I had the chance. My girlfriend lived in Edison and I was always down that way. This thing was like 25 mins from me.

Wouldn't go wrong with Dave's truck, that is very nice and very well maintained! :tup:
