173K and rising.

The tranny has about 60K but the motor is original.

Re: Miles on your Sy/Ty?

I see trucks on here with many more miles than I was expecting  .... so here's a new question... who plans to just keep driving the truck until it can't be driven any more?

That would be my M.O.

I'm going to put a new motor in it later this year and some more fixer upper type stuff but I'm keepin it.

I drove my 83 Blazer until the meter stopped registering miles at 274K. Then I drove it for another 3 years, 7 days a week until one day I parked it and it never started again. I didn't even bother trying to fix it as I figured it was well beyond 300K and it had more than done it's tour of duty.

I'm at 101k. I took a few pictures pulled over on the side of the rode after a cruise night a few months back. They show a "1" followed by a lot of zeros!

Haha, I'm actually contemplating this for a winter vehicle since I don't want my current Ty in the snow. My truck was daily driven for a lot of its life so I intend to keep it that way. It's not going to get a lot of miles in the next 2.5 years though because I'm not allowed to have it here, or drive within 100 miles of here either

Hey man,you need to take some high quality digital pics of every square inch of your Ty.

Would be very helpful to the restoration guys 30 years from now.
