I did an entire s10 interior in tweed, I found it REALLY easy to work with actually..

I originally thought my ty's headliner was falling, but apparently if you have a dealer installed sunroof, its just the way it is, since it has to hide the boxy shape of the sunroof they let the headliner hang..

awsome tweed on the S-10 the reason i had such a hard time was that i was doing lot of foam work... bowtie's with flames... and it was a pain in the ass to get it to go down and shit like it was supposed to

that sux about your ty headliner.... id work on it and get it to where it looks clean but maybe thats just me *shrugs*

tweed work was done on an '86 blazer... lol just makin sure no one thinks i put bowties in a sy/ty....

id definately looks clean..

as for the foam work, I started doing that, and it was such a pain in the ass i just decided against it..

as for the ty's headliner, it looks clean, it just kinda hangs, ill get pics eventually.

well... the reupholstrey thingy i wanted for my steering wheel wont work.... and a NOS/OEM wheel is 200... way to much for our our huge steering wheels IMO... so i started lookin around... and for slightly more i can get a MOMO jet steering wheel so i think im gonna go with that... any comments on this idea is appreciated

well..... it looks like im gonna wind up redoing my hole interior... my seats are worn down to nothingness and have rips... seatbelts will be replaced since they pretty much dont work at moment (drivers side anyway) carpet is closer to gray than black... sound system... what system.... and ill do some work on the dash probably since its "spotted" from the sun (stupid previoius owner  ) door cloth inserts are pretty much white.... and currently i have no floormats...

so first things first... i need to start planning it out of course...

carbon fiber accents here and there but mainly sticking with the blk/red theme

potential steering wheel can be seen above

seats... now this is a hard one cause i want some with some more "wrap around" characteristics than the stockers... but i said o well ill just TRY to replace the dead foam.... and then rewrap with Katzkin... Katzkin doesnt make any reupholestrey kits for ours though... but while im there i see something that catches my eye

BUT are the bases tall enough so i can see out the windshield... and if some1 can find out there stats "height, width, etc., etc.," so i could tell if there gonna fit would be awsome

and if you wanna just reply and say dont put that rice in there.. go ahead... any input is welcome

any other interior ideas are welcome including sound system...

im on a HUGE budget.... not to mention im plannin a complete engine rebuild.... doing coil-overs upfront... and thats only a VERY small part of the list... so keep all this in mind....

hey boosted what all are you doin ?? post some pics man...

My interior is completely gutted. I am prepping body for repaint, mid october. interior....is getting new carpet, insulation, reflective stuff on the roof, and foam seal around perimeter of every interior piece for absolutel quietness.
My interior panels are scratched and roughed up.....Bought truck with 151K, so I am now leaning toward scotch brite the panels and re-shoot them with paint, perhaps in a little darker grey, maybe with some metallic in it, so all the panels are fresh and new.

sounds awsome boosted i would suggest against the flakes though... its really hard to touch up in my opinion (painted my blazer's dash in black met.) smaug what seats woul you recomend that "wrap" around you more besides my stock sy (not ty :)) seats ??? thanks for the input smaug

Mephisto

These trucks are cursed
ive been trying to find some 03 SS/Z06 seats.

reupholster the headrest w/ syclone logo, and make new leather door panel inserts (change color scheme to silver/black).

these seats have a better wrap than syty seats, pretty comfy, and easy install. IMO those would be much better than race/rice seats, especially if you drive a lot...

cons, cant find em, expensive, reupholster.

now if youre talking interior projects, ive been dreaming up a custom center console, a custom 'mount' to go under the ashtray to hold gauges/switches, and an overhead console in my sy... yeah the one with the temp gauge, so i can wire it up to read IC temps.

but for now i just need to get my sy driveable.

camaro, corvette.. hell even higher end bmw, or acura seats

see if you can find some s2000 seats..

but don't do a flashy interior, I think it just draws from the outside..

do a nice clean, classy interior.
