MN/ND/SD meet, Aug 12-13

As was mentioned in the other thread, a bunch of us are planning on getting together
for the Aug 12-13 Street Legal drags at Interstate Dragways, Sabin MN.

Noon to dark both days. After dark is when all the good BS starts, and tent engineering.

I will bring a big grill if you want to cook your own, there's also concessions usually available.

Track has race gas. Parts stores are a short drive.

I *think* the cost is $30 each day. You will likely get all the runs you want, weather
permitting.

Camping overnight is free, if you want to do that, otherwise there are many Hotels within 5-6 miles.

We're hoping to get a good crowd of SyTy and Buick guys, maybe some other turbo types
if I can goad them into it. Feel free to pass the word.

I will have a laptop, and maybe an extra loaner Wide-band. Probably other junk too.

I'd appreciate it if those who are coming will chime in here, just so I've got a ballpark # of
how many truck spaces I have to save room for.

You know we're in. Hopefully, we'll have the Ty there. If not, we'll flog Stevie down the track and see what 185 Swedish horses can do.

I'll try to get your WB back to ya soon so someone a little more deserving can use it.

Shameless bump/reminder.... this'll be 2 weeks from Friday.

C'mon up, even if your truck isn't running.... meet the local gang.

I'm half tempted to bring stuff and have a SyTy swap meet. Lotta junk lying around.

Also, I know of a parts/builder Ty locally that can be had rather resonably. If you're
looking,lemme know. Has DFI, big turbo, built short-block, needs heads.

I will not be able to make the journey either. It's been a tough year. Next year though i will be making a strong showing!

Workin' this weekend and the truck still isn't back together. Hopefully it will be out in time for the good turbo weather though.

Sorry for the late reply, but Sunni and I are planning on being there Saturday for sure, but likely not Sunday.

The Ty is headless, so we'll be driving Stevie. Stevie's gonna rule the 15.00-30.00 bracket class

Will there be any SyTys there?

We got a rain-out, so it wasn't a big deal. Met a couple of the Buick guys from the cities, got to play with a Translator Pro on a GN, too. (Full real-time emulation/datalog on a GN)

The bummer is that the next T-N-T race is the same weekend as nats...

Sounds like the Buick guys might be planning to come up for the next Street event, bad thing about it is that it's the same weekend as nats.
