Mounting T4 turbo to stock T3 manifold

Anyone used these adapter from Ebay?

T3- T4

T3 to T3 , wish they had a T3 to T4 with a wastegate flange.

Its cast, might be hard to weld.

How about drill and tap? Then you can screw in any kind flange you want,even in stainless. I'm thinking 1/2 - 3/4 N.P.T. or whatever in stainless :tup:

Not thick enought, I end up mounting the wastegate on the cross pipe.

It look like it will work, I mount a external wastegate on the cross pipe. Just a short piece of 3" pipe to connect to the PTE downpipe.

Done! all I needed was a 45deg stainless bend and a Vband clamp, it connect directly to the PTE downpire. Cost about $100.
This is a turbonetics T72 T4 flange with 3" vband. Wastegate mount on the crossspipe.

Hey Denny remember you and I had nearly the same timeslip with almost an identical build, both running a PT51?? Except I have a Sy and you have a Ty.

Well, I'm anxious as Hell to hear how the T72 performs compared to the PT51! What are your first impressions?? And at what boost levels?

Its just an external wastegate on the cross pipe, i will snap a pic this weekend.

I haven't drove the truck in months, its been cold and I haven't got the BS3 tuned correctly yet.

Denny I'm curious how good the boost is controled with the WG on X-pipe with that T72.
I'm just about to make one of these with WG flange for my GT3582R, but it may be a waste of time.

I have a turbonetics racegate which I think should work just fine even if its on the cross pipe, I should find out this weekend.
