Out of pure curiosity, what are the specs on the engine? Over $5k under the hood seems like alot.

Blower from a lightning turbo from a syclone and a 6 speed, it defines the term Mutant

Bottom end...
Billet splayed mains,
H-Beam rods,
SRP or JE pistons (don't recall),
Nodular crank (marine).

Top end...
Brodix heads,
Comp push rods,
BRC shaft rockers (w/ 2 spares),
Titanium retainers,
1 piece valves,
Comp 424 cam,
Stock lifters.

Trans...
T-56 6-spd manual,
Bravada T-case,
Shifter has been moved in the trans for a stock location in the truck,
Howe Racing throwout bearing (billet),
Kentucky Clutch solid clutch disc (no springs),
Gilbert propshaft.

Current build has been daily driven since November w/ only minor hiccups all of which were
fixed in less than 3 minutes on the side of the road.

...and a bump...

some of that $ involved rewiring everything from the previous nightmare it had been influenced by. Tuning too. So its not just $5k in hard parts.

$5k for this truck is a stellar deal. One of the few syclones i'd ever want. hopefully the new owner will be able to bring this beast to some syty gatherings. It deserves to be seen and run.....not hiding in the shadows. Sorry to see you sell it robert! Hope you don't miss it too much.

For those that don't know about this truck, it's becuase you're too new to the syty scene. There is a lot of pics and info floating around this site on it. Search "mutant" and/or threads started by "robert lone" and you'll find plenty of surrounding history.

it's about as unique a build as you'll see

Definatley a cool combo. 5k is a steal in just parts, wonder what it would run in the 1/4? Too bad this wasn't on the west coast, I could have used another Sy to hold my driveway down.

Damn. Without the supercharger I might have some kind of a chance to have that beast registered. I've keeping an eye out for a reasonably priced, modified Sy for a while now and for $5k this one is a bargain. :(
