My 1992 #0481 Ty Project

Long story in time at least, bought the car from Sweden in -Jan 2017, summer came regged it in Finland and well presto blew the engine. Collected parts from MrSyclone among a Bowtie block, Bowtie heads, Jesel rockers, big KKK 36 Turbo (84/88mm) etc but to no avail not a good crank anywhere to build upon. Work and house projects came in way Ty collected dust, moved to the new house and there it sat collecting dust in a warm garage. Bought in the nmeantime a 91 Syclone engine as a spare and now started checking it. 2.05/1.60 Valves, forged dish pistons, spalyed 4 bolt mains, eagle rods and an Really stuck ATI superdamper. Stock Crank and a X2210-2161-14 Cam Motion roller cam with Crower hyd.roller lifters. When I bought it the original motor had a GT3076R Garret on with Bosch 60lbs injectors. The plan is to upgrade it with a GT3582R as it has Siemens Deka 107961s on. Well see what the future brings? I think I´m around a 500+hp build. ECU is a Storm sofar.

Welcome aboard sir! post some pics ! I have almost the exact same engine in a syclone and she moves out! you will be very happy with it.

Hey Mikey,

Welcome. Look forward to reading about your progress and seeing the pictures. I have similar story, mine sat for many years untill 2018 or so I took all apart. It's back together and just preparing for paint. Look forward to seeing pictures of yours.
