here is a pic of my new to me GMC Sonoma SL

I put my SLP Firehawk wheels on it today...



there are more pics if you click the small one...

i looked for a SOgt before i bought this truck... but couldn't find one close enough to home and my price range...

* i plan to straighten the front bumper brackets
* install this bumper cover

* i want a soft toneau cover
* a zq8 steering box
* 110mph speedo (got it :))
* sonoma gt seats
* t56 6-speed

first i have to modify the the upper control arms so my rims don't rub at full lock... should be doing that tomorrow...

that is it for now...

There are some ugly ass things on there, but the sy bumper cover is only $369 :tup:

ive been looking for a front bumper cover like that. i remember back when i was into mini trucks you could find the bumper cover like that in every mini truck magazine you picked up. i know its not gm authentic, but it beats dropping a g or more on the real deal and it doesnt have to have the bumperettes. you professionals on the forum will be the only ones who know its not real, the average joe wont have a clue. ;)

now just trying to figure out how to slip this one past the wife. :rotf:

i just wish it had the dip in the middle like the real one... but it is the best non-oem cover i have seen ...

just noticed that, after you pointed it out. i doesnt matter though.

Update: won some wheels on Ebay...

just gotta get some adapters for them :)

sy/ty wheels... yeah... :)

So far so good. I would like to see the pics of the bumper cover. How it mounts, and what it looks like on a truck and painted

That bumper cover might be a decent start for a front mount intercooler opening mod/enlargement.
