Truckless. For now.
So here I am, sitting in the hotel. All the Sys and Tys are gone... well, except for maybe Zacks. It's so lonely out there. :rotf:
First of all, my hats off to the Nats Planning/Organizing crew. :tup: What else can I say? Great event!
It was nice to finally be able to put a real face to all the names/screen names. I'd try to list everyone, but I know I'd miss someone, so yeah, nice to meet everyone I met. :tup: Thanks for making the trip with and without your truck for those like me, who's trucks are riding the jack stands proud. :lol:
For those that didn't make it, well, you missed this photo opp:
(if anyone needs a higher res... haha, too bad, you weren't here
)
To see so many trucks in one place was surreal for me. It sure beats the 12-15 we had in Denver 3 years ago. :tup:
Like I've said in so many other topics, it was awesome to see Robert's Sy in person and see how he does things. I can't say it enough... That turbo is friggen huge! It was cool to see it make a few passes. Too bad he didn't break into the 8's. Guess Hoovers still get to hold on to the US title of fastest AWD truck.
It was awesome to see John's truck too. Sadly, I missed getting it on film as he drove to the track. :rant: I got some good footage but I missed it. I think Jimmy's truck was in the way of the camera :lol:
Special thanks to Jimmy for the ride. :tup: Thanks to your truck, my wife is officially hooked on SyTy's :woot: That thing is an animal!
All of my photos can be seen HERE
Thanks everyone for a truly memorable experience! Now, who's in for SyTy Nats '07...Denver? :rotf: Let's see you guys with the quick trucks run at 5280'
