The insurance adjuster was real good, All I can say to anybody that gets hit is, have all your documentation in order. After I explained what i expected from him he wrote it right.........and since the front had to get repainted why not add a cowl hood
. :D

Truck looks great, but IMO the stock hood would look better.

Come and get it, its yours.

The new engine/intake won't fit under the stock hood.

Got the same hood here. Do you also have a lot of vibration from 100 to 200 mph ? :rotf:
Some times i think its gonna fly or something

Re: My trucks fixed!

My Ty one moves around a little, so on this one I cut the rubbers to fit ( i don't have them on the ty. I also found that the hood catch hits on the side so i removed some metal there and then got to screw the front rubbers up to keep pressure on it and it doesn't move at all. BUT I never had it to 200 yet, so...........

Re: My trucks fixed!

I also did mod the lock by bending it and some cutting but its fine now. I think i had to buy the metall hood. I have been up to 150 when i raced the new M3 and the hood looked scary

Re: My trucks fixed!

Problem with the metal hood is there is no room under it with all of the bracing. Another thing is make sure you leave the weatherstrip on the top of the rad support. Without it air could be getting under the hood there.
