my typhonie

hey guys.

i'd like to start off by sayin that i'm 16 years old and from ontario canada. i do not have my liscence yet and i am a big syty fan. my dad owns a syclone and i have my ty-clone. i've owned the truck since i was 14 and built it from the ground up. all of the work was done by my dad and myself. i know that its not the real thing, i had the choice to save up and buy a realt typhoon or build a clone so i decided to build one. this is my first custom truck ever and hopefully not my last. these pictures were taken right after the truck was finished.

The truck is a 1994 chevrolet blazer and has a Vortec 4.3 V6 5 speed. i changed the grill to a jimmy gril of course. the interior is stock with the exception of a stero. The exterior has been givin a goodmark cowl induction hood, billet grill incert, diamond corner and marker lights and h4 conversion headlights. the morriors have been painted along with the roof reck being removed, it had a shaved entenna and whiper cowl.

the truck magnaflow exhaust and kn air filter for a little more go. nothing like a typhoon though. and has been lowered 4-5. 4 inches up front 5 in the rear.

i love the truck and with being so young my dad told me to put my truck up to let all of you guys see it. hope you like it. if not, thats cool

let me know. - Tyler

Re: my typhonie

very nice truck, good job on putting it together.

its probably better that you don't have the added power of the turbo, it will help keep you out of trouble.

And probably more reliable.

Good job. As a person that restored a car myself before I had my license I can appreciate the efforts you put into it.

Very nice looking truck.

Re: my typhonie

hey guys thanks alot for the comments. it definatly suck not being able to drive it yet but ohh well.

it took me about a year of lookin and buyin to find all of the cladding. i bought pieces everywere basically. ebay, on here, anywhere i could find it. its all gm cladding no fiberglass or fake pieces. i thought that it would make it more origional. although alot of the pieces were broken i took on the task of fixing them myself and prepping and priming them myself and my dad painted them.

about the turbo all wheel drive, i wish i had the turbo but i mean young kids like me with fast vehicles do not mix. but after doing it myself and payin for everything myself i have alot more respect for the clone. i'm not going to drive like an idiot because it way to important to me that if anything happened i don't know what i would do.

Talk about having your head on straight. BIG kudos to you Tyler. I'm sure you'd heard from a million people but the truck and your out look on life is something to be proud of.

I concur with all the comments here in.....Truck looks spectacular, and the fact you built it yourself is icing on the cake.
