My Typhoon v/s Walmart Cart Boy - Who won?

Looks like the Walmart cart boy won this round! As I was pulling into the parking lot at Wally World, the cart boy was rounding them up, he probably had at least 100 carts he was towing with the dolley. As I started around him his line of carts begand whipping around like a sidewinder in the desert. I tried to get away, but no luck. The tail of his procession swatted into the side of my Ty. Did the dude stop when it hit?? No, he just kept going with carts scraping down the side of my truck! I jumped out hollering to stop, byt this point he had gotten his end tow dolley stuck onto my rear tire! I think he musta been on Prozac, he never once showed any emotion, just stood there like a deer in the headlights, stoic. Luckily the other Walmart workers in the garden center saw him wipe me out. So i made him call the manager out, who then took pictures of the damage, and made a report. He says their claims dept will contact me, this should be a fiasco....It could've been worse, no dents, but scraped my rear cladding pretty deep, some scratches and chips on the rear qtr..Oh well..

Don't know about your walmart, but the ones around me only have retards that push carts. Hope they pay for everything. If they give you shit have someone give you a invoice for that cladding part 3 times the normal amount. That way you make out really well. ;)

That part is discontinued and one of the most highly sought after cladding pieces.

Best of luck getting what its worth.

More than likely a body shop can use some filler and fix the cladding so long as its not "torn".

My wife complains about the walk but I typically park as far away from the wally world greeters as possible.
The cart boys cant be much smarter than the greeters.

he just stood there and looked at you cause he works at Walmart and doesn't give a shit.

I've known quite a few people who have worked at the local Wal and when they're at work, they're all like that.

Sorry to hear about the truck. Right after I got mine, some hillbilly asshat and his family parked next to me in a parking lot and raked my drivers rear quarter while backing their rusted out, falling apart Nissan Hardbody out.
That one was fun. It was his eighty year old dads truck (who didn't know he had borrowed it) whose insurance was lapsed. Damn cop didn't write them a citation for anything.... I was so pissed.

I think it is a requirement to work there.. If you are not mentally challenged , you cannot work there. Hope you get it fixed.

That's just it..I wasn't even parked! I was barely even into the parking lot! There is no way that one piece can be fixed and match, Original fading cladding, lol. It scuffed fairly deep, but the body shop should be able to fix it, but the entire ground effects would have to be painted for it to match. Same with the chips on the body. When it warms up enough to thaw my waterhose, I'll wash it so i can see just how bad the scratches & chips are.

You have a better temperment than me.
I would have went ballistic and more than likely been charged with ramming a whole line of carts up that young mans arse. ;)

Then again my wife tapped mine in the driveway and I was out there in my boxers pitching a fit. the neighbors will never let me forget that day.
And it was only a month before our wedding.
She is lucky her boss gave us a $1000 check for our wedding gift to fix it!
Also ended up with a set of zo6 wheels fora wedding gift!
Yes, I forgave her and even let her drive the Ty at Nats with freshly painted "feels like butter" cladding.

Just make sure the walmart ins adjuster knows its rare and will need to be repainted to match.
Corporate insurance should take care of you, just keep saying my lawyer this, my lawyer that.

Should have slapped him and seen if that sent any emotions through his system. Hopefully you get it fixed right. I wish I could get lucky and have my truck fixed because of someone Else's screw up.

Wal-Mart insurance sucks, but you shouldn't have any problem. I had to deal with them when they did an oil change on a 2005 Hyundai Sante Fe, 3.5L, AWD. They installed the wrong filter, she left, hit the interstate. Motor locked up doing 70mph, and broke the input shaft on the transmission. They wanted to put a used engine and transmission in it, when it only had 17k miles, but still 100k mile powertrain warranty left. After she fought with them for about 2 weeks, they agreed to install new ones.

Walmart's insurance called today. They told me to get 2 estimates and fax to them. Might be time to make one of my infrequent trips to GM dealer and see what they come up with, and just how they think they can match the paint, lol

Take it to a "high end " body shop and tell them to work extra intyo it walmar will only cut one check so itf the body shop needs more time compared to the original estimate you will have to pay it ,
