My deepest sympathy goes out to Myclone's wife, family and friends.
I never met him but always looked forward to his responses and input when I was a "newbie" asking the same old dumb questions. I looked forward to meeting someday at Nationals and getting a picture together with our trucks. I have #613. Again my condolences go out to his wife & family. He will be missed.

Dave was a TRUE class act, I remember one instance when AJ was sick and Dave & Lisa sent him (AJ) a get well card.

I'm blown away......My jackstands sunk into the pavement a few weeks ago....I thought I was a goner. This breaks my heart to hear even though I only new him via PM's.

I haven't been by these forums in over a year I think, but Eric Manfra let me know about this and I just wanted to offer my sincerest condolences to Dave's family. I know it's not much, but I'm sure his family needs all the support they can get.

It was posted on DragVA, fortunately.
I will be contributing to the fundraiser the best I can. I don't have much, but every bit counts in a situation like this. David was a great friend. I can't believe I didn't find out about this sooner... I was logging on to another forum today for no other reason than to ask him about a truck I was considering buying. I'm so shocked, and I must admit... I'm even hurt. It hurts to know that such a wonderful person was taken away from his friends, and his family. I was at the DMV this morning with this on my mind, and I wonder why some of the scumbags I came across in line are still being kept around, and great people being taken away from us. I will miss him more than anyone will ever know. He was one of the few genuinely great people that I've ever known. As everyone else has stated, he was all about helping other people, and that's a big part of what made him who he was!
He will live on forever... if for no other reason, because I will never forget about him! I wish there was something I could do to go back in time and help him.
I will miss those great stories of his...

I'm here for you if there's ANYTHING I can do to help whatsoever... I'll help with yardwork, or do anything I can to help you through the hard times. Keep your spirits high, because he's truly in a better place, and he was doing something he loved. Please don't be too proud to ask for help if you need it. He's got a lot of great friends that would do anything for your family!

My deepest condolences to you Lisa. Although I did not know him, reading some of what he's wrote leads me to believe he was a helpful and great man.

Just read this and all I have to say is, how sad. I never met him in person, but we exchanged PMs at times and he seemed very intelligent and was definitely helpful to many in this forum. Please people, use common-sense when working under your vehicles. I've had some close calls myself, but now I use 6-ton stands and two jacks under the truck whenever I get under there, just in case. My deepest condolensces to Mrs. MyClone He will be missed here...

this is the second person i've known to be killed by a vehicle coming down on him.
i would have been in high school when my 73 trans am came down on me; thanks to god i had a craftsman metal toolbox under the car with me and it literally saved my life.
NEVER TRUST JUST A FLOORJACK.
dave wasn't stupid, and in doing heavy transmission work on a very heavy truck, i suspect he had stands in use, but somehow the truck got shifted or jarred off.

Wow, this is a total shock. I am very sorry to read this.
My prayers are with you and your family at this time. I never had the chance to meet him, but have shared conversations with him on syty and he was always willing to help anyone. He will always be remembered here and will be sadly missed.

Here goes that unable to sleep again thingy.I would like to thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart from the truly nice things you have all said about my husband. Dave would have laughed and said ah goosh all this fuss over Redneckerson. I can say I loved him with everything I had and he knew it. My only regret is time. I used to tell Dave that a lifetime wasn't enough to show him just how much I loved him. A special thanks to Erue his wife Amy, Mike Campbell and Mike Renz for coming here. To here them pull up in their trucks at my home was nice. It is only fitting that I post here not only because of it being a place my husband spent MANY hours. But because the love of the turbo is how we meet. I posted on the Buick board as Lghtemup. We chatted and then met in Mooresville at the track where I foundly became known from Dave as Turbo girl.
