Well, I spent most of the day at work reading a lot about Dave... what a fun, crazy, good guy he was - so helpful to everyone, and so full of life. I came home fixed a few things on the Sy and went out and just ripped around the neighborhood a few times in his honor. I'm sure that for you guys who knew him well he'll take the opportunity to jump in that passenger seat whenever you go out to build some boost. I kinda believe that those who've passed over can hear us if we just talk to them... it's obvious he had a lot of people who thought a LOT of him... maybe just talk to him a little bit the next time you're out by yourself driving around in your Sy or Ty.... from what I've read he'd get a chuckle out of it.

Never had the chance to meet Dave, but I always enjoyed his posts. He just had the gift to write things that would make me bust a gut laughing. We conversed in PMs when he asked for advice about building his dream garage. I always hoped he'd get it done. :(

My condolences go out to his family...

From a recent thread about Democrats from Warmpancakes:

I dunno about that...yeah a lot of ppl are stupid and greedy but there are ppl out there that stick to what they believe in no matter what potential influences they may encounter. :myclone:

..Dave went on to say that he took pride in being one of those stick-to-your-beliefs people he was describing. And so together with my all-too-brief introduction during a dinner at the Chicago Nats, that is how I will remember him.

My deepest condolences to you and the rest of the Myclone family, Lisa. Your courage and conviction will see you through the dark hours, "..no matter what..you may encounter"

This morning I had a job interview and I had 15 minutes until I needed to leave, so I checked SyTy.net to waste some time. When I saw the title "Myclone is gone", I expect to see his truck was either sold, totalled, or stolen, not that David had left us. What somber effect that had on my day, and I can't even imagine how his family feels.

Days like today put life into perspective. Myclone contributions epitomizes everything that I enjoy in the community. I will be forever be searching through his old posts for his technical advice. I feel fortunate for his emails, pm's, and forum advice from him. I feel saddened that his time was so short and he will be missed by me.

I am not really a religious person, but I would like believe their is a heaven. If their are vehicles in heaven I am sure Dave is already wrenching on God's Syclone :myclone:

It's been a while since I've been on, but this is horrible. I remember before I bought my ty reading his kills post after he left the grocery store. Some of the funniest posts on the forum. He will be missed.

I met Dave and Lisa at Chitown Nats.

Dave was an asset to this whole group and he touched everyone with is knowledge. I sit here in awe and this message stays short not because there isnt much to say about Dave, but merely where do I start?

May you rest in peace, dear friend.

I met him (briefly) in Chicago. He had quite a presence, in addition to being very tall. I was hoping to see him at nats again one day and talk longer than our first meeting.

Things will not be the same without him. I'm just in shock and disbelief.

My condolences and prayers to the Myclone family.

Hello I registered here just to post on this thread.

I didnt know Dave as well as you guys but I did correspond with him a few times on www.Pro-touring.com and he was a stand up guy with lots of info. He was a Budget warrior like me and I feel a bit bonded to him even though we never met but we fought the same fight. Making things work right on a budget.
He was a valued member of PT.com and we will miss him. Its hard to find people that is willing to make things work with knowledge not an endless bank account. He also brought the gift of a good laugh.
The folks at www.StevesNovasite.com send there condolences also. He never post there but we are all brothers in this hobby

RIP Dave we never met but you helped me greatly.
