Mystery capped fitting behind tb

Behind the TB there are two fittings the one on the bottom is hooked up to my PCV for vaccum, what is the one above it, mine has a rubber cap on it, did some searching and couldnt find anything

It is a coolant passage used on the LT1 motors that TB was also found on.

It had to do with heating the TB with engine coolant to prevent cold weather problems.

its actually for the canister purge on the TPI V8s. these are the same throttle bodies, so that is why its there.

Just use it as leverage when you have a race lined up.. point out that you even may have some small vacuum leaks :)

Whoever said it, they are in fact TPI V8 throttle bodies. The LT1 motors use the newer style TPS and IAC parts, and for that reason we cannot use the LT1 58mm BBK throttle body
