I'm really thinking of making the trip. Miss the east coast more than I thought I would, and never did make it down to Kentucky. Maybe I can meet up with someone along the way?

I'll be makin the trip with the family. I'm undecided on driving it or trailering as of now, depends on how good it runs and drives by then. Anyways we're up for a caravan.

I can meet up with you on 85/40 . The best route there is take I40 west to nashville then go north for about 45mins and your there.


Sean i guess you will be coming up 421 to I-40 correct if so we need to plan on a meeting place and time.



i guess somewhere in greensboro would be the best.

yea I'll come up 421 to greensboro and we'll find each other someplace around there. Not sure exactly how your route is but we'll work it out.

I'm guessing leaving out that friday morning early cause it's a 8 hr drive from my house so towing it may be more like a 9hr drive. The best way i know to go is straight up I-40 west to nashville and then go north (i can't remeber the highway #)


for Clonemain it may be best for him to catch i-77 north from charlotte to statesville and then pick up I-40 west.


I dunno what is his plans are right now. but i know that i'm gonna go i just don't know if i'll drive the sy there or tow it!

16hr drive without any problem in a sy/ty is unlikely

Yep and the current build is very conservative for towing. I have to tow my buddy's dragboat about 3000 miles this year....
