NE Extravaganza 2008 Registration Now Open!!

You'll notice that saturday night and Sunday have some TBA still on the schedule. We're going to poll the attendees to see if we'd rather have a mini golf death match, a go kart 500, or simply parking lot syty games. Will most likely simply be a brunch and and goodbye on Sunday for travels home.

Renting a pool house with parking area as HQ for an event is an amazing idea. I've never heard of that before, but now I'm wondering why everyone doesn't do this.

Its only been a week for registration. Just set it up now. There will be a good turn out. There was a good turn out for the last 2.

So my question would be what does the $65.00 and Guest $30.00 covers The track Rental, The Hotel, and the food. Would like to go but just scouting since i got my Bash on July 5th and this would be a month later how much money i will have to get out there.

I would be racing, eating, swimming, playing and trailering.

Private track rentals are hard to come by and very very expensive. $65 for track is a great deal!

Damn! Might have to take the back seat out and sleep in the back of the typhoon.

Atleast i should be able to make it and hang out. I'll wait for Mike to reply to see.

Drive out Thursday Night (no traffic) and then maybe return on Saturday night or early morning Sunday unless some good stuff will be happening on Sunday. Friday & Saturday look the best so far. Hopefully run some 10 sec passes.

Oh and not sure about this one but the last one the fee covered the track, t-shirt and a dinner at hooters. That was last time though and I am not involved with set up just letting you all know from what I remember.

the fee includes track rental, track spectator, pool house rental, tshirts, and the cookout.

And yes track rentals are expensive, but our track liason managed to scoop us up a pretty good deal, otherwise the fees would be much more for this relatively small meet.

The more people that show up, the more likely this meet will continue to live on!

we didn't rent the pool, just the pool house. Swimming is an additional $5 a person or something like that. So swimming isn't included...heh. The hotel has a pool though, and that'd be free.

What is the cost on the hotel stay per night. I would either drive up late Thursday night or Friday Morning and at least stay fri night and sat night.

I have no problem with people staying at my place thursday night. I'm about 100miles from the track...not sure how close i am to the hotel off hand. But if you want to break up your drive, my floor is wide open.

Its about 6 hours from the early map i had traced out. I could leave my house around 2 am and get there about 8am or even roll out a bit later, just wanna make sure i am planted before the traffic get busy.

I will be rolling on the trailer, Truck will be "FOR SALE" to a good home, and hopefully make it into the 10's
