Re: Need help finding exhaust options!

our first 100 syty exhaust kits had our own muffler which was based off the magnaflow. Once we ran out, it was not cost effective for us to build our own mufflers so we have been using the magnaflows. the dynomax ultraflow is good for performance as well but does not look as nice.

Re: Need help finding exhaust options!

Let's face it; nobody buys a muffler for looks, right? There's nothing pretty about a muffler. Nothing sexy about a muffler....Until now. The Aero muffler is sooo nice, your wife will approve of the purchase as a center piece for the dinning room table.

Or even for a display over the mantle in the living room.

You need to try the Aero 3030XL. Straight thru round design and 100% stainless steel. Just get the muffle and have your local exhaust shop fab up the 3" pipe from the cat back to the muffler. Much less expensive than a full cat-back system and every bit as good. I am selling the Aero 3030XL for $145.00. Has a liftetime warranty.

Ummmm..why are you selling it?

By Business, Longwith's Trim & Accessories is a distributor for Aeroexhaust. I can sell them to SyTy.net members at a discount price.

Here's the 3535XL that I am selling for the new 2008 Sierra Denali with the 6.2 403 HP and 6L80.

Re: Need help finding exhaust options!

cut my exhaust off at the cat, lost about 40-50 lbs and have the cheapest, best flowing exhaust there is, not too load with the stock cat/turbo

flowmaster is the worst exhaust made.

One of the worst performance mufflers made. I have seen quite a few flowtest and Dynotest using Flow master muffler vs competitor muffler, Flowmaster alway come on or near the bottom. IMO They are popular because everyone thinks they sound cool on Mustang and falls for 'flow' 'master' name.

Re: Need help finding exhaust options!

If you can get away with it, do what I did...spent about 20 bucks at autozone, yeah, i know but didn't want to go to any muffler shop. Anyway, I got 2-3" pipes and a 3" turn-down. I welded them to the original flange piece and I think it sounds pretty good....no muffler
Personally, I like the loud exhaust. But that's just me...

Re: Need help finding exhaust options!

Hi Guys,

its been a long time since I posted. Sadly my Typhoon was sold on last year. Im now Chuggin around the UK in a Chevy Tahoe....With MUD Tires..

Anyway, I just noticed the post here and the mention of Aero Turbine Exhaust...

Guys Ive nothing to gain out of this post.....As Im on the other side of the Pond in the UK.

In the last 4 months Ive started to Import Aero from Utar to the UK. And we have had great sucsess Fabricating them into High performance Turbo Charged Applications (Sadly with only a handful of SYTYs here its been them Pesky Jap & Euro cars....

They are with out doubt PERFECT for the SY/TYs. The Aero Turbine is not your normal Muffler!!!

Try it , Dyno it and see what it does compared to YourFlow master Magnaflows and so on and also a Straight piece of Pipe

Hope this helps

Cheers from over the water
