Need help streaming syty videos to my plasma???

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows where i could download some video(preferably HD) of some syty's. So I can show my Dad exactly what sytys are!! I know there are some on you tube and sportsmachines that i can show him on the computer, but i was hopeing to stream from my computer to my xbox 360 so we can watch it on my plasma!! Anything would be appreciated!!

you will need a program to grab the video from utube, then a converter to change the utube video to the .wmv format then you can play them throught your xbox360. as long as it it sync'ed to you computer which works best with windows media player.

What programs to DL from you tube and what program to use to convert to wmv?

There are a few if you google. here is one for you i haven't tried it though http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php this is to download the movie from them. The program i use to convert videos is win avi video converter it is the quickest i have found so far. i will try the you tube downloader later. if you get it to work let me know, and if i find something better i'll post back.

I grabbed it using keep vid and then converted it using avs video converter.. but there is no sound! HMMM... it streams to my TV tho... It displays the text that i am using an unregistered version of the converter during playback, same reason for not having sound??

any thoughts?

I usually just connect my laptop straight to the TV with a S-Video cord :dunno:

the s video would work as well, but there still would be no sound. I'll just have to DL the flv player and see how that works.

Any one got ant cool HD content on these trucks?????

If I remember right, Pete (orange/black ty) has TONS of videos in a library he made. I can't remember his screen name though. Anyone know the video collection I'm talking about?

Pete is "epix" and yeah, he has a huge collection of videos.... I'm pretty sure there's a link to the page somewhere here. if I get time today, I'll try and dig it up. :tup:

hmmm. I had audio. It may have been out of the laptop speakers, though. You could always use one of those cables with a headphone jack on one end and a/v jacks on the other. I actually just found mine last night.
