need help with tunerpro

I downloaded the code 58 files from the code 59 forum (ads and xdf). connected a new APU1 to the ALDL and the USB. swithch is in open position and tunerpro shows connected to hardware and to ALDL. turn truck on and the dashboard shows no information. What am I missing?

this is my first time using this thing so I amnot sure what you meanby define but I selcted the xdf file from the file I had it save to and when I did it populated data in the columns on the left side of tunerpro. so if this is what you mean then yes. Ads is showing in the field int he aldl setup screen. Not sure what the quick command-sends are but there are three listed, am I to do anything with these? Also I don't need a bin just to read info do I? emulation is turned off.

Stock 58 code will not connect to the ALDL when using the AutoProm unless you patch it. The Stock 58 code has an ALDL bug. Code59 had this bug corrected so it will work with the AutoProm. If you are trying the Stock58 code, you will want to search the forums for ALDL Patch. Turbodig posted a patch that lets the stock 58 ALDL connect to the Autoprom. You will need to download it and patch your stock bin so it will work.
