Ok, won't name any names yet, but everybody knows him.

He needs a set of pistons for his ty.

He is willing to let me put a sticker of my choosing on his ty. Anything I want. Size to be 12" x 5" or about that.

In exchange I get him a set of forged pistons. As in other topic I am working on some sets for a good price.

So anybody want to help sponsor a sticker on his ty. All the sponsors could come up with what sticker says. Hell, could be a rainbow, Daron is my Pimp, etc. We would get to choose. Heck we could all put our john henry on it, if we did that, he would probably let us get a bigger sticker.

I am really tempted, wanting to know if anybody else would want to help me with cost of pistons.

Now, I feel like the PIMP here....... as some of you prolly already know..
I have metallic parts in my OIL FILTER, I was on my way to the OHIO gathering when I heard some weird noises. I pulled over, smelled OIL burning and opened hood.. Saw it barfing OIL out the breathers and decided it was time to call for a tow truck.. Anyhow, I got the truck flatbedded to home and it still runs, just not well. While the engine didnt completely give up the ghost, its on the way out.. I think there was some previous damage done by previous owners and the fact of the mileage on the truck (110k). Also as you guys are aware, I am having Nolan tune my truck for 84# injects and a PT52 turbo setup. Please note, this failure is in NO WAY RELATED to the tuning on my truck, NOLAN's tune is and has been QUITE conservative, and I DONT blame this for the failure. At the time of the failure I WAS datalogging with DM and during the complete tuning process I only experience KNOCK one time and that was on a shift at 2-3*.
Otherwise, no knock has been detected since going vortec heads and NONE was present at the time of the failure (have DM logs to prove it). Please keep in mind putting a big 'ol turbo on a tired motor was a gamble on my end and I decided to take it.. I can tell you this, with the tune that NOLAN was working on, that thing FLEW at 12# it felt stronger than any time EVER in my truck running 17# on the stocker.. So safe to assume the newfound power was the demise on my already TIRED motor.

They have seen better days.... The rings all came out in pieces - but not of the lands are broken..
