Ed....couple things.

You really need to get new valve seals in that thing. Its smoking way worse than it did last year.

You look like big E (RIP Dale) in the pic you just need some dark glasses.

I was up around your stomping grounds (philly) today picking up some syclone parts and Jim and I talked about ya a little. We pretty much agreed that comparing where you started to where you are now is mind blowing.

Im beat from the drive (Charleston WV to Pittsburge then on to philly then back to roanoke....right at 1k miles :tdown: ) so all I can say for now is killer numbers Ed and keep give'n em hell :tup: .

yes the fog lights have 130 watt bulbs in them.

you shoulda stopped by. i'm only 10 minutes fromt he bridges from philly to jersey.

i hear ya.... kinda of amazing that in 2002 my 1st trip to the track in over 20 years and i had a truck running 14.4 in the 1/4. never changed he plugs myself and used to pay a guy for tuneups, maintenance and changing the oil. I knew absolutley nothing when i started .
thank harry for what you see happening. couldnt do this without him.

GOOD times Ed and waow what a burnout with the FRONT tires?!?!?!?! can you easy unhook the rear drive??? REALY NICE PICS :D

one Q then.. I see you have a great 60´time and quite a good 1/8 time and realy good ET but lack of speed?? did you let go in the end??

Yesterday we found out that Robert burnt a clutch pack in his trany (we guessed it did gave in at Gardemoen norway before Chimay)

Still his Sy did a 1/8 time at 6.60@118 and in 1/4 a 9.72@151 the 60´was 1.79 !!! this was on a regular street ( in chimay the race is on publik road and trackbite is spread out, thats the prepp done to it )


I also note that YOU only race this track? as Hoovers race their "home"track..You never try other tracks??
Robert do his times despite what track he is on or what kind of surface (prepped race track or publick road) as for now he have these lov and middle 9 sec runs in 3 countrys..


AND He IS headed for the NATS this year, he race his home trac in gotheburg (their first this year) the 14 of july then the truck is shipped to US..

atco is a 20 minute drive from my house adn 35 from my shop so thats why we ususally go there , just to conveinent.

but if we want to be sure of a good surfface we make a 1 hour drive to cecil county md.

as for mph keep in mind we dont have a 4th gear in this.

FWIW....I've seen the Hoovers race at three differant tracks in three differant states one of them is about 10 hours away from where they live. ;)

Nice pics and times.... just wish it was still a street truck, track only vehicles are not to my liking.
