Gary, now lets be reasonable you don't need a helmet, according to the NHRA rulebook section 16, subsection 10:7 you only need a helmet if your running (13.99 or quicker), and we both know that isn't gonna happen so you have nothing to worry about. :lol:

Hey Don, what do you set your ultimate setting to when you race?

The quick run was at T2-22. My truck seems to really like to knock, even with static timing at -2. I think the 1 gal of 116 leaded really helped.

I'm running actual methanol that I get a local distributor, don't know the ratio.

Looks kike I should be there on the 8th. I will order my helmet tomorow even though B.K. said I won't need one. I will need your help if you dont mind Don showing me the ropes. I just hope my truck makes it. It will be the longest I have driven it.

Weather shows rain for the 8th. Its far enough away so I hope it won't. I will be off at noon and head up there Don. I will bring my camera so I can record your 12 second pass. My friend was going to go but he is being a baby about going. It sucks I have to drive up alone. Anyone from the south bay want to go? sorry for thr hijack.

All parts from the hardware store. The goofy looking bracket on the alt is a gate part. :rotf: I wanted to do this without drilling any holes in the truck. It works though, I still have my top radiator hose.
