i'm going to argue this point...TP does an excellent job of "datalogging" and it provide a .csv file that will allow manipulation for anyone that knows excel.
what TP doesn't have is an nice internal graphing and the realtime display is VERY lacking, but, as you said, it sounds like mark will be making it better in the future.
there's even a few programs (PAnalyzer for one) that will take the .csv files and provide a, fairly, functional graph.
