Id just like to have a Typhoon as a reliable daily driver that I could dip into the 13's with.

I had one problem. The EGR line was loose so my check engine light came on. Fixed the line and no more problems. It was completely stock when I got it too. I ran it at the track and I got a 14.01 or something like that cause I bumped it into OD. It still ran hard. It depends a lot on what kind of life it had before you. I do all my own work. Dont think I have ever had to ask someone else anything about any of my cars.

Have never taken my vehicle to a mechanic either.


Have experience with Turbo cars too. (Best friend has 89 Supra Turbo and 87 4Runner Turbo)

We had the problems with the 10lbs of boost at WOT, and just about all those other ones you mentioned.

Im not one to beat on my cars or drive them hard anyway.


Wont be living here unless I end up getting a Ty.

Shit, I would think if I can build an engine, rebuild a 700R4 and know how they work...I shouldnt have any problems.

One would think that. Go buy the first one you find then. I mean it, you shouldnt have a problem. You'll probably end up rebuilding it soon enough, just more practice huh? After all its exactly like a supra and a 4 runner. Its kinda like a combo of the two. nfire: :flasingsmile: :eggface:
